Paystar came to me with a challenge that government platforms rarely get right: make paying your water bill feel as intuitive as Venmo. Their technology was strong, but their identity felt dated—hardly the kind of brand that could carry them into new markets. I led the charge to reimagine their visual language and digital presence, working side-by-side with the Paystar team to strip away the noise and deliver something clean, confident, and built for scale.

To create a logo mark that felt timeless yet distinctive, I partnered with my longtime collaborator Roby Fitzhenry, whose craft gave the brand an instantly recognizable symbol. The new identity launched just as Paystar began its expansion across Texas and the Southeast, helping position the company as a trusted, modern player in the fintech space.
